Sorceress wakes up to find herself in an unfamiliar place. She looks around and sees the other assassins sleeping peacefully. She gets up and walks towards the window. The sun is just beginning to rise and she can see the rooftops of the city stretching out before her.

As she stands there, lost in thought, she hears someone enter the room. She turns around and sees Eryx standing there, a small smile on his face.

"Good morning," he says softly.

Sorceress nods her head in response. She's not sure what to say to him. She's never been good with words, especially around people she cares about.

Eryx walks over to her and stands next to her. He looks out the window with her for a few moments before turning to her.

"I wanted to make sure you were okay," he says, his voice barely above a whisper.

Sorceress nods again. She appreciates his concern, but she doesn't want to burden him with her problems.

"I'm fine," she says finally. "We should get back to work."

Eryx nods and the two of them leave the room. They make their way back to the hideout, where Goat is waiting for them.

"We have a new job," he says as they enter the room. "Slither wants us to take out a rival gang."

Sorceress and Eryx exchange a look. They both know that this job will be dangerous, but they also know that they have to do it.

They spend the rest of the day preparing for the job, gathering information and making a plan. Sorceress is in charge of the magic, while Eryx and Goat will handle the physical aspects of the job.

As they set out that night, Sorceress can feel her nerves beginning to fray. She knows that anything could happen on this job, but she also knows that she can't let her fear control her.

They arrive at the rival gang's hideout and begin their attack. Sorceress uses her magic to confuse the gang members, while Eryx and Goat take them down one by one.

In the end, they are successful. They take out the rival gang and return to Slither's hideout with the money they were owed.

As they celebrate their victory, Sorceress can't help but feel grateful for the friends she has made. She knows that they are not just her coworkers, but her family.

And as she looks around at them, she knows that she will do anything to protect them.
